This isn’t about generic outputs or throwaway reports. The Build Report Agent works within Joiin’s existing reporting framework, so it understands entities, consolidations, reporting periods, and layouts and produces reports that fit straight into how you already work.

You can review everything, tweak anything, and adjust the output just as you would with a manually built report, but you’re starting from a strong foundation rather than a blank page.

Once you’re in the reporting area, you can open the AI interface and describe what you’d like to build in plain language. From there, Joiin will generate the report or pack for you, ready to review and refine.

The Build Report Agent sits within Joiin Intelligence, the AI layer built into Joiin that supports insights, automation, and smarter reporting. It is designed to help finance teams spend more time understanding their numbers and less time assembling reports, making it easier to produce board-ready packs.

This is Joiin’s first AI agent and marks an important step for us, shaped by how customers already use Joiin and the feedback they have shared along the way. AI-generated outputs remain reviewable and editable, so teams stay in control of what is shared.

What’s coming next

The Build Report Agent is designed to evolve. Over time, it will become more flexible, more context-aware, and more tightly connected to the rest of your reporting process. This includes deeper awareness of reporting cycles, entity structures, KPIs, and how different stakeholders consume information.

It’s also the first of several agents planned within Joiin Intelligence.
