Syft Shines as Finalist for Xero's Global App Partner of the Year 🏆

Awards season is here! Just the other day, we found out that we were finalists for Xero's UK Practice App of the Year award, and then we were named FrontRunners for Best Reporting Software on Software Advice, a reviews-based software advisory platform. And now we have been listed as finalists for Xero's Global App Partner of the Year.

About the award 🧐

The Global App Partner of the Year award recognises a global app partner with a proven track record of growth with Xero’s customers. The winner provides a fantastic user experience and has a world-class engagement program for users.

We are thrilled to be named finalists for this award as we have worked tirelessly to provide a truly interactive financial reporting tool like no other. Our aim is for Syft to empower accountants and businesses to create and collaborate on beautiful reports that will take them from data to decisions in no time.

Turning our attention to education 👨🏾‍🎓

We know that many accounting practices are struggling with recruitment and that a large reason for this is the gap between the skills accounting students acquire at university and the expectations of accountants in the workplace, especially when it comes to new technologies. While our software is a key focus, we've recently developed Syft Campus to provide additional educational value to help combat this problem.

With Syft Campus, you can learn the ins and outs of all things Syft, including features you may have overlooked for months or even years! We also offer courses on different aspects of Syft and its integration with Xero.

With our array of dedicated courses, you can up-skill your team and go from zero to hero in no time. From reporting to forecasting to our Audit add-on and new Excel and G-Sheet Connectors, Campus covers everything you need to more – and we constantly update it.

Since it's inception, more than 25,000 Syft Campus lectures have been completed, and this is just the beginning. We've also begun working with universities to teach digital skills alongside VAT, consolidations, and other critical avenues of study. As one of our education interns, Sithuliswe Ndlovu puts it:

"I always had this fear of how technology would impact the accounting space, but I feel like Syft is allowing me to actually see how the two integrate."

Syft gone global 🌏

In the past year, we have exhibited with Xero around the world. We attended roadshows from Canada to Australia, Singapore to South Africa. Syft also sponsored Xerocon Sydney, London, and New Orleans, with members of our engineering, marketing, and sales teams representing us at all these events.

To reflect our global focus, we've also recently introduced the ability to translate reports into a variety of different languages!

We are honored to have been considered in this category and are very grateful to Xero for the nomination. Congratulations to all the other finalists! Our team is looking forward to the awards ceremony in Johannesburg next month.
